Kensington Market Self Guided Food Tour
Kensington Market is a vibrant, bohemian neighbourhood right in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon getting lost—wandering through alleys, shops, and restaurants. Known as one of the most culturally diverse areas not just in Toronto, but in the world, it’s the ideal spot for a food tour.
This tour takes you to six of my favourite spots, offering a variety of cuisines from around the globe.
I could go on forever about the food in Kensington, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the vintage shops. You can’t walk more than a few steps without coming across one—and some have been around since the 60s.
The beauty of this self-guided tour is that there are no rules. Stop when you want, shop when you want, eat when you want. This guide is just that—a guide. To really enjoy Kensington, you need to find your Kensington. Discover new spots, and when you do, leave a review with your own recommendations that didn’t make it onto my list.
You will receive a PDF of the self guided walking tour.
